Windows 2000/XP

Additional Digital I/O channels can be added with the addition of a Lynx L-Stream expansion card (see: http://www.lynxstudio.com/product_section.asp?i=2. There are two models available: the LS-ADAT provides 16-channels of ADAT lightpipe; the LS-AES provides up to 16-channels of AES/EBU or S/PDIF.

Also, up to 4 LynxTWO/L22/AES16 cards can be added to a single system to expand analog and digital I/O, for up to 64 channels of input or output. When using ASIO, the Lynx driver presents all of the I/O as a single device for usability with the widest range of software applications. See this FAQ for details.

Mac OS9 & OSX

Additional Digital I/O channels can be added with the addition of a Lynx LStream expansion card (see: http://www.lynxstudio.com/product_section.asp?i=2). There are two models available: the LS-ADAT provides 16-channels of ADAT lightpipe; the LS-AES provides up to 16-channels of AES/EBU or S/PDIF . The LS-AES cannot be used with an AES16 in OSX.

It is not possible to use multiple LynxTWO/L22/AES16 cards as a single device with OS9 or OSX 10.2 or 10.3. Multiple cards can be accessed by a single app with OSX 10.4. See this FAQ for details.
