Sonic Foundry / Sony Vegas 4 Applications Notes
The LynxONE and LynxTWO/L22 work with Vegas 4 using our ASIO driver. To setup Vegas 4 to use our ASIO driver:

Launch Vegas 4, then select Options > Preferences

Once the Preferences panel is up, select the Audio Device tab. A screen similar to the following will appear:

Select LynxTWO as the Audio device type. This is the LynxTWO ASIO driver. Please note that the above screen shows two AES16 cards in a single computer. Your screen will probably show a different number of devices and device names, depending on your configuration. Next Click on the Advanced button and the following screen will appear:

Click on the Configure button and the LynxTWO ASIO Control Panel will appear:

Select the buffer size you wish to use and ensure that the Bus Master switch is enabled. There will be a bit of trial-and-error to find the smallest buffer size that doesn't cause audio dropouts to occur on your computer. Start at 512 samples and work your way down until the audio will no longer plays back cleanly. Then bump the buffer size up slightly and you should have the latency set to as low as it will go on your computer.

Select OK for the LynxTWO ASIO Control Panel, then OK on the Advanced Audio Configuration panel, then OK on the Preferences panel.

To assign tracks to the appropriate devices, add a Bus by clicking on the "Insert Bus" icon in the Mixer panel and select the desired play device as shown below:

Please note that the above screen shows two AES16 cards in a single computer. Your popup menu will probably show a different number of devices and device names, depending on your configuration.
