  • Running an ASIO application and bit-depth says 32-bit in Lynx Mixer despite project bit-depth.
  • When playing back a stereo sound file through any of the outputs, there is signal on the analog inputs.
  • The Lynx Mixer reports a sample rate of 22k when I first boot into Windows. Why?
  • I’m trying to send audio out of the digital outputs and there is no signal being received by my destination device.
  • I cannot change the clock source in the Lynx Mixer – it keeps reverting back to the previous setting
  • My computer is not recognizing the Lynx card. What could be wrong?
  • I installed your Version 2/ WDM drivers and now I’m not getting meter activity in my application.
  • I get clicks and pops when I increase my sample rate to 96k. Is there a compatibility problem?
  • When I log into my Windows 2000/XP computer as an Administrator everything works fine. When I log in as a User, I cannot use my LynxTWO/L22. When launching the Lynx Mixer, I get an error message: “No mixer device drivers available.”
  • My audio output is way too loud.
  • My input signals are too low.
  • After playing audio that had a sample rate of 44.1kHz, playback was attempted of a 22kHz file and the beginning of the file was truncated. Why?
  • When I play audio with different sample rates, I hear a click through my speakers when my Lynx card responds to the new sample rate. How come?
  • After installing OS X driver build 46 or above, I get Kernel Panics when launching or closing my audio software.

With the LynxTWO/ L22 properly installed in your computer, the inputs and outputs will be available to applications as record and play devices. The default setting for the LynxTWO/L22 card is that the Record 4 device is routed from the digital input, and the Play 4 device is routed to the digital output. Most, if not all, third party applications provide device selection in configuration, options, or preference setting windows or menus. A separate selection option is typically provided for the input(s) or recording device(s) and the output(s) or playback device(s). Choose Play 4 for the playback device and Record 4 for the record device when you want to access the digital outputs and inputs on the Lynx card.
