If the Lynx card is your default audio device, and you have system sounds enabled, it will respond to the sample rate requested by these low-resolution sound files. We suggest disabling system sounds in a computer that is used for serious audio work. To do so, choose “Sound and Audio Devices” from the Windows control panel, click the “Sounds” tab and select “No Sounds” as a sound scheme. |
