  • Using an LS-ADAT/LS-AES card with a LynxTWO or L22, when I send audio to the first stereo input, nothing records in my software and the Lynx Mixer shows meter activity for channels 9 and 10. What’s going on??
  • My LStream card is not being recognized by the system, what could be wrong?

Using an LS-ADAT/LS-AES card with a LynxTWO or L22, when I send audio to the first stereo input, nothing records in my software and the Lynx Mixer shows meter activity for channels 9 and 10. What’s going on??
All OS

The LynxTWO/L22 has 16 “logical” input channels divided up into 8 stereo record devices. Each record device channel can have its input assigned to any physical input. By default, Record 5 through 8 take their inputs from LStream 2 Inputs 1 though 8. The default settings for LStream devices is for the first 4 stereo inputs of the LStream device to be routed to Record devices 5-8, which occupy channels 9-16 in the Lynx Mixer (note: this relationship can be user-altered. If you are getting results that differ from these instructions, please use “Restore Defaults” in the Lynx Mixer).

Audio coming in the first pair of inputs on the LS-ADAT or LS-AES, will route to Lynx driver device Record 5 as a default. To record the signals coming in this input, configure your recording software to receive input from Lynx Record 5.
