i'm trying to use the Burl B2 Analog to Digital converter to work with 2 channels on the Lynx as the interface - using AES cables - I can't get it to work. I assigned the 2 appropriate channels to Digital In.
Can someone help?

That would be the "Classic" Aurora 8 :-).

You will need to use Aurora Remote Control to do the routing and make sure the Aurora is in REMOTE routing for the TO DIGITAL OUT (all three LEDs on).

What interface are you connecting the Aurora 8 to the computer with?
Thank you,

Oh the Software you mean? (aurora remote control)   I did try that - I sent the AES channels coming out of the B2 to the Dsub cable on channels 5-6 and then in the software - changed channels 5-6 from Analog In to DIgital In.

Do I need to sync the clocking between these 2 devices? I am using the aurora for DA - to my hardware audio inserts (compressors, eqs) then the Burl for AD back in - through the Aurora digital in - into computer

Yes, if the Burl has AES on XLR, you will need the CBL-DIGY85 cable

You also do need to clock the units together via 75 Ohm BNC (basic video) cables.

Ok - would you recommend making the Aurora or the Burl the Master?

You can of course try both and see which you prefer, but the Aurora has a super low-jitter clock that is just stellar.
