After installing the firmware update to 7.0a and uninstalling the usb driver and installing the new 3.20 usb driver, I am encountering issues with the Hilo.

It is connected via USB for control only, I use two AES16e cards and two Auroras for audio, and so the Hilo is set to run line out / monitor via digital in, and AES out via line in.

Since the upgrade, when I select output mix and routing, the layout is different, audio is muted while on this page (didn't happen before), and I cannot unselect "usb play" for whatever output I am configuring. To be clear, I do not intend to use any USB audio on the Hilo...

I finally found the old output mix and routing screen via the shortcut from the meter screen, but while my settings here allow me to configure the audio ins and outs as I had before, the other page (from the home screen) does not reflect these changes, and I cannot figure out how to return to the RTA meter page (every time I select the meter icon from the home screen it now brings me to the old-style output mix and routing screen).

I highly value the hilo for its ease-of-use and flexibility and this has significantly reduced its utility in my workflow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just downgraded to 7.0 and the Hilo is operating how it was before.

There was an issue with the last download that has since been corrected. If you re-download and run the 7.0A updater, you should see the layout that you are familiar with. Sorry for the trouble.
