Hi,
I'm trying to install my LynxTwo-A-G into a industrial computer which has a Intel 852GM main board, PM1.6 GHz CPU, and 512MB SDRAM, the system is a clean WinXP SP3 I just re-installed.
I upgrated the firmware of the card to W35, and the driver also the most currently version, but when I strated audio software like ARTA or others, the computer will freeze sooner or later, and it seems will freeze sooner when I chose ASIO model. when I chose WDM model, it takes more time to freeze.Big smile
So, would you please kindly help me on this issues?Handshake

You might need to go with driver build 19g for XP. Run the uninstall from the Lynx Studio Technology program group, then reboot, and install http://www.lynxstudio.com/upload/V2Setup19g.exe" rel="nofollow - driver build 19g .

Also, you might try moving the card to a different PCI slot if you have one available.

Does the card appear in device manager without an error?

Hi Paul,
It's better now, after I re-installed driver build 19g according your procedure, ARTA software can runing for a little long time like several minutes or more with out freeze.
But it still go to freezinig after I change driver setting for example changing ASIO to WDM, so any more sggestion for me to try? And if any other old firmware can help for this pretty old but silence indutial PC。Big smile
To answer your question:
1. The computer has two PCI slot, I have tried each either, the same result.
2. No error appear in device manager for 19g or the latest driver.

Hmmm, how about in the Lynx Mixer Record/Play page. Do you see dropouts for the record or play devices before the crash happens?

Do you have any other audio software other than ARTA to test with? Ideally something that supports ASIO..
