I'm waiting for my Lynx Hilo to arrive - the most high end piece of audio equipment I have ever bought. I'm using it for voice over recording and want to be able to monitor directly with zero latency (i.e., so the signal doesn't loop through the DAW (Cubase) first and then back to the headphones). I'm assuming this is simple to do in the Lynx mixer. My previous interface is the Saffire LE, much simpler of course and a no-brainer to monitor directly. With this more pro equipment with so many routing options, I want to make sure I haven't overlooked something before I pay the man. I know it's a really basic question, but can someone hold my hand please!

You didn't mention which interface to the computer you ordered, Thunderbolt or USB.  Either way you would use Hilo Remote that comes with the driver for those interfaces to setup your zero latency monitoring (or you can do it from the front panel of the Hilo itself - works the same way).

Thank you for the rapid response, David. I ordered the USB interface. I will probably set it up from the Hilo interface itself. I think, if I understand the manual correctly, for this scenario there will not be much change from the default settings. For direct monitoring I just need the line in routed to the headphones, right?

Yes.  Just select the phones as the current output on the Output Mix Routing Page then turn on the LINE IN.  Pretty easy.
