Hello there,
We are running 2 x Aurora 16 & 1 x Aurora 8, all with LT-HD cards hooked to 3 x PT HD cards in a Mac Pro. Has been rock solid for many years, however, as of about a week ago one of the Aurora 16's has no relay sound on power up, and has no Trim function in Analog mode (no Trim LED, no ability to toggle). Note that the Trim function in Digital mode works fine. Seems to be clocking fine and passing audio fine, but I know that relay ought to click on start up. Firmware 24 on all units. Any thoughts appreciated. |

So if you press the Trim button you do not hear the relays click? You're certain that the METER button is on Analog?
Shouldn't have any consequences if the unit is correctly running in +4 mode, but can't say I've ever heard of an issue like that...

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the quick response. To confirm, yes, in Analog mode the Trim function has no LED display or relay noise, yet in Digital it has both as per normal.

Sounds like this might be a VT (variable trim) model. What is the serial number of this unit?
