I have a Lynx Aurora 16 and new LT-TB card which appears to have suddenly developed a problem.
All seemed to be working fine for a couple of weeks and I now seem to have a fault with the Aurora and Lynx Mixer showing audio output locked to Digital 5/6 (The Digital Out 7/8 is the connection I have cabled to to my DAW In connection on My Dangerous Music D-Box for monitoring the 5/6 digital cable out from Aurora is not connected) The Aurora is only cabled for An 1-8 i/o and Digital 1-8 and set to 24 Channel mode in the Lynx Mixer The An Outs 1-8 all go to the D-Box and the Digital channel 23/24 connected to D-Box Digital DAW In In the Mac Core Audio setting, I cannot now seem to switch the speaker output to the Lynx Mixer to any other connected out and can get no sound to my monitors. Looking or solution. Thanks David Below are the settings showing on my Mac Pro for the Mac OSX 10.12.16 Thunderbolt connection and the Lynx hardware details from the Lynx Mixer. Update on this.
This looks like a Mac OSX Coreaudio problem. Retracing my steps I recall that I went into the Mac audio/midi settings app and on setting speakers, I temporarily switched into Quadraphonic mode then back to stereo. It appears the coreaudion doesn't reset its internal links correctly. As I fix I went back into the app and switched the quadraphonic output mode away from using digital 21/22 replacing with LT-TB digital 23/24 applied the setting then switched back to stereo output setting it to LT-TB 23/24. I then rebooted. Sucess the Lynx Mixer wasback to working normally. Can't get my head around OSX core audio but it appears the modes other than stereo may have some sort of processing priority which do not necessarily reset correctly in line with what the audio/midi settings app shows visually. There seems to be something less than stable within the coreaudio coding on the Mac OSX. All seems well now on my LT-TB just hope Apple sort their audio problems on the Mac. I seen quite a few posts about USB glitches but never seen this one, probably because the volumes of users who use these settings are low. One for the test labs and tech support guys to know. Be interested on any views from others who have either come across this, or use the non stereo features OK In OSX with the LT-TB. David |

I have bumped into some issues with the multi-channel modes in Audio Midi setup. What you see, and what you get, do not necessarily line up. Glad you got it sorted out...
