I regularly have this problem coming back : at windows startup, Lynx Mixer resets to it's default volume and I must reload saved scene...
Disabling Topology driver fixes the issue, but then I end up with an error in windows event viewer : "topology drivers disabled" logged at each startup. The only "clean" workaround is to uninstall totally and reinstall the drivers, reinstalling on top doesn't fix it. Normally it recalls last state (mixer closed or not before reboot), but from time to time I have to uninstall/reinstall...Any idea what may trigger this? ps: using latest drivers and firmware on Windows 10 (LTSB) |

Disabling the Topology driver is probably the only way to solve this as this is Windows changing the volume by itself. You can safely ignore the Windows Event Viewer message - which isn't an error by the way. Just an information message.
