Hi.
Right...you need a driver installed. 23g is our latest. May we ask why you want to use an older driver? |

i downloaded 23g and 23b and tested both. they didnt work.
before i downloaded those, of course i uninstalled lynx drivers. and when i install, there are message like these: first message: DIFXAPI_ERROR X return UpdateDriverForPlugAndPlayDevices. Second message: Driver Package Install X THe driver is already installed. i checked device manager, but there are no lynx l22 driver in device manager. |

And the reason why i wanted to use old driver...
i want to use non standard sample rate. 1hz as a unit.(73728hz, 64338hz...) I asked this several months ago. And lynx support said it is possible if i use external clock in l22. I believed it... but it was not possible... so i tried to find older version drivers. Bc i saw a photo in google, it seemed possible...1hz as a unit. That's the reason. |

Hello,
If you want to try an older driver, 19g is the last one I would bother with. The card never supported non-standard sample rates in single hz increments. Honestly, this has not come up in about 8 years, and I cannot find the document with the scheme for how non-standard rates are handled. Its different for under 50k, 50-100k, and > 100k. Are these the two rates you won't to work with? 73728hz, 64338hz... If so, I can look into whether they are supported or not. |

I know that l22 has different resolutions.
"For rates 8kHz - 12.5kHz the resolution is 62.5Hz. For rates 12.5kHz - 25kHz the resolution is 125Hz. For rates 25kHz - 50kHz the resolution is 250Hz. For rates 50kHz - 100kHz the resolution is 500Hz. For rates 100kHz - 205kHz the resolution is 1000Hz.". But i asked about not only internal clock but also external clock. I asked "Do you mean when i clock externally, there's no resolution like 500hz between 50khz~100khz? If so when i use an external clock, the resolution can be 1Hz between 50khz~100khz in lynx l22. Am i right?". Then, answer was "correct". ....I believed this...And I bought l22.... Anyways, i can't understand this sentence exactly. "Are these the two rates you won't to work with?"....I'm non English speaker... i dont know if i understand this rightly. I just want to work with especially 73728hz. Can you look into whether it is supported or not? And one more question... If i use not 'asio' but 'direct sound', does other A-D sample rate conversion occur? and does it ruin sound quality too much? |

Well, between 50k and 100k the resolution is 500Hz, so rates such as 50500Hz, or 62500 would be possible. The closest to 73728 you could get would be: 73500hz.
For the SRC, that is done in hardware and can be used with any driver model. The quality is quite good, even for math heavy resampling like 192k > 44.1 |
