Hello.

I just have some questions regarding an Aurora 16 with an LT-USB card installed?  I'm would like to use this with Cubase 8.5 Pro.  I'll be mixing in the box, so there is no external mixer.

1) Will I be able to record 16 tracks simultaneously via USB, and still be able to send the stereo mix from the analog outs to my studio monitors, and create a headphone cue mix from two other analog outs?  It looks like the USB driver does not have the signal routing available.
2) If the answer is "No", what do I need to make it work?  Will the addition of an AES16e resolve it?
Or, do I need another Aurora 16?

I'm a bit confused on the signal routing that is available.

One more question: Are AES16e cards no longer required with the new Aurora n series?

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Glenn Carty

Hi Glenn,

You will need to download and use the Aurora Remote Control.

1. Under the Digital I/O and Settings tab, set the To Analog Out to REMOTE

2. Under the Analog I/O tab, your outputs are the faders on the right. For your desired Outputs, click on the source buttons (above the faders) and set them to L1 and L2 (assuming you are routing from the computer via USB 1 & 2).

The AES16e can be used with the new (n) a bit later this year when we release our Digital I/O module for (n).

Please let us know if we can assist further.
