Windows 7 media through Aurora and Aes16e

   Hello all,

I found some shaky info as a work-around, but nothing definitive. 

How does one set up audio to play from Windows Media Player, while also being able to have a session open in ProTools. So far the clock wants to change (or needs to change) 44.1 when I do play any Windows sounds. 

Previously, my Saffire Pro 40 would allow me to monitor from WMP, or Spotify while a session was open at a different bit rate. 

Any help is greatly appreciated!

	Are you using the LYNX ASIO driver in Pro Tools? Starting with Windows 7, Windows will change your sample rate and sample rate convert your audio file based on the setting in the Sounds panel. To avoid this, you need to set the Windows Sounds sample rate setting to the same rate as your file.
