Yep, the Sonnet is the only one shipping with a TBT3 chassis at the moment.  We work with them quite closely since they are just down the street from our office.

Very well, I'll go that route.
Anyway, Sonnet already delivers Thunderbolt 3 ready chassis, so I think I won't need any adapter.

Many thanks for your always strong support, and kind regards.

Yes, and yes.  That is what I use as my main testing platform for the E44 (Thunderbolt expansion chassis on Windows).  You will need a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt (1 or 2) adapter.  We recommend either the one from Apple or the StarTech.

Hello,

I am a very happy owner of two E44 PCIe cards installed in my studio workstation (Win7 x64).

Now I want to built a small portable recording system, installing a new E44 in a Sonnet Echo Express SE I (a Thunderbolt 3 PCIe expansion box), wich will be connected to the Thunderbolt 3 port of my Lenovo Thinkpad P50 portable workstation running Windows 7 x64.

Will it work?
Are the E44 drivers ready for that?

Many thanks and kind regards.
Alberto
