Noticed something unusual today with the data shown on the About Aurora Remote Control info page.

After the Serial number and Rev: B info there are three values in brackets (E0/CO/S48). Does anyone know what these relate to and why would they change? I assumed they were hardware related so wouldn't change without a change to the hardware. However the S48 value which was shown yesterday on my Aurora 8 is now showing S50 today so Im trying to understand what has changed? Any feedback appreciated.

Those are PROM values to show our tech support how many times the PROM has been written to.  It is safe to ignore those values.

Thanks for response David. I assume then that the reconfiguring I recently did and the power cycling reset the PROM to new values which is why the count changed.

Thanks
David

Yes.  E is erase, C is program and S is standby.  Whenever the Aurora is powered off by the front panel standby switch it writes the current scene to the PROM and that is the count of how many times this has occurred.
