Hi,

I'm using AES16e card with Firmware : 13.2 and Lynx mixer version : 2.0.0. Build 22.

I've 5.1 audio output problem in this card. In windows sound configuration, AES16e card not accepting 5.1 audio setup and it will support 7.1 audio setup. In 7.1 audio setup, SL/SR (5&6) is mapped into DigitalOut4(L/R) and RL/RR (7&8) is mapped into DigitalOut3(L/R) in Lynx Mixer. Because of this, not able get proper 5.1 audio output (L, R, C, LFE, LS & RS) from application and 5.1 audio comes in L, R, C, LFE, RL & RR.

Is there any solution to solve this issue?

What happens if you route Play 5+6 to Digital Out 4 L/R, and Play 7+8 to Digital Out 3 L/R? You can do this routing from the Lynx Mixer. Just highlight the output and un-mute the appropriate play devices from the middle panel.

After routing, 5.1 audio comes in proper order (L, R, C, LFE, LS & RS). But, in the same routing while playing 7.1 audio, the same problem (side & rear surround channel swapping) reproduced.

Is there any solution to play 5.1 and 7.1 in proper order in one configuration?

What software are you using for playback?  Does it have an option to use ASIO?  If so, use ASIO and 5.1 and 7.1 will work as you expect.
