Try connecting the AES Out cable directly to the AES In cable. Play audio to the associated output. DO you get input signal for the corresponding digital channel when you do that? If not, likely there was something wrong with how the cable was configured. If you DO get input signal, then the problem would be reside downstream, perhaps the settings on the Avocet.

I have tried iMac-LT/TB-Aurora for the first time today using AES output to AVOCET.

I've made AES cables by myself using Yamaha pinout. I get no signal to AVOCET even though I see signal on digital meters on Aurora. LynxMixer looks as expected aswell. Did I miss something?
