Hi guys, working with an PTHD10 rig on Mountain Lion, with 2 Auroras 16 in a HDX card, and an Octo UAD Pci card.
I did the firmware update to v28 of one Aurora, but I constantly failed the verify of the LT-HD update. Using a M Audio midisport 2x2, an 1 m usb cable and that worked for the Aurora. I've tried the Eeprom 2 to 1 switched and the rest of the AC with the sync source attemps... I can't make it work. I was expierencing audio drops the last 3 weeks, so I face the firmware update as Paul indicated. Help please!!! |

Is PT closed and the DigiLink disconnected? They should be.
MIDI also needs to be connected in both directions, in case it's not... Edited by Mike N - December/27/2017 at 4:32pm |

Hi Mike, yes to both. I followed the steps exactly as it is on the Lynx web...
Also switched the jumper from 2 to 1... And changed the midi interface. Always failed... |

Mac can be very picky with MIDI bulk dump updating. Interesting that the Aurora updated OK...
You can try power cycling the Aurora before updating, or even a hard reset: 1. Power
down the Aurora |

I also did that, several times as I read old post in this forum.
Interesting that switching even the interface (I´ve tried 3 differents) the update is resisting to be made... |
