Hi,

I have repositioned my Auroras to a place in my control room that's a bit inconvenient to reach. I'm thinking of having one of those plug-in receivers added, so I can turn them on and off remotely.
This means they will be turned completely off after every session. As far as I know, the power button on the front only puts the units in standby, correct?
Do you think cutting the power to the units every night might damage them in the long run?

Looking forward to your replies.

That is how I have my rack or Aurora's powered - with a remote on/off switch.  My prototype Aurora 16 has been running that way since 2005, so no, it won't damage anything.
Thank you,
