My Lynx Aurora 16 n Thunderbolt - is working great.

But my former Aurora had these really fat cables going to the Lynx AES16e with a channel per wire?

Now this thunderbolt is much thinner and still handling 96K with multiple channels?

How is this thin cable capable of doing all this?  I do not understand?  Are the channels coded somehow so the digital information for many channels can go down one wire?

I am grateful for this being the case.  I would just like to understand it more.

Thanks,
AB

Hi, AB,

Amazing isn't it? Wink

First, the transmission speed is much faster over Thunderbolt and second, (as you mentioned) it is sending all data as packets of information, not in channel pairs, as AES does. The channels get "figured out" at the receiving end.

Just a great format all around.
