The light on the Aurora 16 does go on.
In the software on the computer though, I can click on Synchro Lok - but only one light out of the four lights actually lights up in the software.  I have the Aurora 16 set to internal clock. Should I care?
Best,
AB
P.S.  Cannot wait until the new Aurora 16s with thunderbolt come out.

How does the Aurora connect to the computer?

It is connected with an AES16e where the Aurora is master and AES16e the slave unit.

Apparently, since the Aurora is set to internal, there is no need for four squares in the software to light up under synchrolok.

So I tested the Aurora being slaved to a Forssell unit I have.  The Aurora in external did go through the "four squares" on the software, and after a period of blinking, the light on the Aurora stayed on solidly.

This Aurora 16 is 12 years old and still going strong!

Best,
AB
