Long story short I bought an E44 and cannot use it because of full scale noise issues that crop up on several channels of the AES16e when I try to use the system to mix with 18 I/O plus one digital pair  as external inserts.   I bought the E44 to replace an L22 which has been functioning reasonably well.

Paul has tried to help, but as of yet nothing has solved the problem.

At this point I am trying to decide whether to sell the E44 or keep it around for the next computer rebuild, but I am not convinced this issue is a result of a limitation of my current machine.

I am certainly using using the PCI system heavily as I also have a UAD Solo and a Quad.

I have an Asus P7P55-E and an i7 875K processor.
