If you can send your phone number to support@lynxstudio.com we'll call when it is convenient for you. Easier and quicker than posting here.

Yeah, -33 is pretty heavy. However, the reason I am trying this (using line out rather than monitor) is that I wanted to utilize the twin DAC chips rather than the single with Monitor. I am using USB 1/2 to play back audio from the computer that is fairly hot. Trim is set for the output at 0. Balance line XLR cable from line out to my amps (fully balance input). If the Master goes above -20 it is very very loud. Any thoughts or suggestions will be welcomed. Thank you.

I will try to recreate the issue you are seeing....
-33 is pretty heavy attenuation. Keep in mind it is digital attenuation on the LINE OUTS....
Are your amps +4 on their inputs (I am guessing yes)? If so, and if you have not yet tried this, I would set the Master at "0" (with no source playing of course) and try different LINE OUT trims (SETTINGS/AUDIO/LINE OUT TRIM). Once the levels are better-matched, your Master can hopefully not be turned down as much.

Thanks for the response. I had calibrated the screen after doing the firmware update and again today while trying to deal with this issue. I was very precise when touching the buttons and I do not believe that this was the cause of the problem. Further, the fact that once I "unfroze" the buttons with the Remote I then had no problem utilizing the buttons with the RTA on the touch screen seems to indicate that the issue was not thick fingers but a software glitch that caused the buttons to freeze. The fact that I can reproduce this issue by paging through the meter choices for a while until the RTA buttons freeze on whatever the input choice is at the time, is a further indicator that something is hanging when the meters are toggled. Again, do any of the other meter choices besides RTA have the ability to adjust sensitivity? Presently I am having to set the RTA to plus 27 to get meaningful use of the meter. Am running the master volume at -33 because I am feeding the line out directly into my amps and need the headroom. Thanks

You need to be fairly precise in touching the fields to make the changes you are looking for.
You may want to calibrate the screen to make sure it is optimized (SETTINGS/SYSTEM/Calibrate Touchscreen).

I discovered that I could get the setting out of Digital by going to the Remote and selecting RTA there and making the change. Once I did that I could then make changes again within RTA on the touch screen. However if I made a number of changes with respect to changes from one meter type to another the source selection in RTA on the touch screen would get stuck again, as well as the yellow to color button. Again was able to unfreeze the selction button by using the Remote.

I have updated to firmware v8 and find that when using the RTA meter that I can't change either the input (stuck on Digital) nor the B&W to Color button. In both cases I am simply directed back to the page for selecting which meter to use. I have turned the Hilo on and off with both the front and rear switch. This applies whether using line in or USB1&2 for the source. Also is there sensitivity adjustments for any meter other than RTA? Hope I articulated my issues and for any help or suggestions. Thanks!
