I'm about to install 2 Lynx Thunderbolt cards
Getting a new PC for Audio
Wondering if the Thunderbolt can be connected to BOTH my new PC and my old MacPro (only running one computer at a time of course)

Yes, but, as you say, you can only connect to one computer at a time.
