David,

Thanks so much for your help on this. After disabling the driver signing I was finally able to run a newer version of Pro Tools, and it run without a hitch.

Please note, I did have some trouble with my antivirus software. At first Bitdefender wouldn't allow the driver to be installed. It recognized the LynxMixer.ex$ as a virus. After disabling the antivirus for the install, i could get the drivers to work. Unfortunately, Bitdefender still recognized LynxMixer.exe as a virus and would delete it. Only after I told the antivirus to leave the file alone could I use the new mixer.

Yes, another user pointed out the false positive on LynxMixer.ex$ earlier today, and that was already corrected.  If you re-download V2Setup23f.exe there should be no false positives on LynxMixer.

Glad to hear that ProTools is working better for you.  Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.
Thank you,

I finally had an opportunity to get back to this.  I am very happy to report that the workaround has fixed the problem and the Aurora is working great with the recent versions of ProTools.  THANKS VERY MUCH for your work on this.  I am quite sure that the problem was not even going to be investigated by Avid.
