Hi, I'm currently using 2 Lynx Aurora 16's with 2 AES16e cards. I'm thinking about upgrading to a new trashcan mac and was wondering if I were to go with the 2 lt-tb card route directly into the new mac, will I be gaining performance? I've read that the data transfer is 10gb with the thunderbolt card, which is very impressive. Are there another limitations that I will encounter, or is it all smooth sailing?
Thanks

Also what would be the preferred clocking method? I'm now using 1 AES16e as master clock.

The performance between two Aurora/TB and two AES16e/Aurora systems would be nearly identical. Same latency, same mixer, same general level of operation and stability.

For clocking just take a wordclock cable out of unit #1 and connect it to the clock input of unit #2.  Unit 1 = Internal. Unit 2 = EXT.
