Hi fellow Lynx users,

I am wondering if any of you know if it is possible to run a signal out of the I/O ports simutaneously with the tb card in the Aurora?

I've started a ticket regarding this already. But since it's the start of the weekend, and I hope the awesome supprters at Lynx actually take some time off, I thought I'd pick your brains here in the meantime.

So, here's the situation.
I have 3 Auroras, and a few weeks ago, with great help from Paul Erlandson, I converted my system to thunderbolt. It is now up and running, and it works just great. BUT: I did not consider the fact that I also had an adat card piggybacking one of the pci-e cards in my old setup. That card fed my cue system for the musicians. I've come up with a temporary solution, but it is not in any way great, particularly convenient, or fit for more than 1 person at a time.

So, I am hoping there's a way. If anyone has any other ways of doing this, I'd love for you to chime in as well.

Have a great day!

Thanks,
Kai

Hi Kai,

Happy to tell you that you can absolutely send to the Digital as well as the Analog outs with LT-TB.
Aurora should be put into 32 channel mode. This is done in the Lynx Mixer under Settings/Advanced/Adapter Settings.

In that window, select the Aurora that you wish to change, and set the Channel Mode to 32-Channel. Click SAVE and reboot the computer (since this changes the driver). That Aurora will now have all 16 analog and all 16 digital I/O available to you.
