Hey everyone ,
I'm trying to find out if anyone is running the Aurora 16 lt-tb on the X99 platform specificity a gigabyte GAX99 gaming 5 mobo with the 5820K and add on GS thunderbolt pcie card, windows 8.1 or 10 . I recently had to send back a focusrite red net system (pcie and red net 2 ) after the retailer ,distributor and my self found the card would just not work with my mobo. As always with these issues it's incredibly frustrating after spending so much time and cash for something to not work at all. So I'm really hoping someone here can help me out . Thanks in advance

Hi,

We sent an email response about this as well :-)

According to the Gigabyte website, that mobo is “Thunderbolt ready” if you use Gigabyte's own Thunderbolt PCI Express card. We have not tried that combination so you may want to research it a bit.

If their card works with their mobo and is fully Thunderbolt-certified, then our LT-TB card should talk to it just fine. Again, though, we have not tested it.
