Definitely easier with the ASUS, but yes, once you update the firmware with a non-Gigabyte mobo, you will then be able to do any subsequent updates with the Gigabyte...

Hum fine! i need to update the firmware of the L22 in another pc (i have the lastest firmware) and the motherboard too ?

And after that i will make the futur update for the lynx 22 plug into the Gigabyte MB ?

It's easier with the Asus MB.

Thank you

If you use the GigaByte it is important to update the card's firmware from a system that works well with the card before installing into the GigaByte board. Otherwise the firmware update process will probably fail.

You wouldn't need to bother with that if you get an Asus board instead.

The ASUS mobos have generally performed better with PCI cards, since Gigabyte uses a bridge chip for their PCI implementation.

That said, our latest firmware for L22 takes care of the Gigabyte issues. You can download the latest firmware here. Also, make sure to download and install our latest driver first.
