Sorry you have not heard from tech support yet. I would have to know when you sent the Emails to see if they were received.
Does the Hilo show up in Audio/MIDI Setup? That would be the first set before trying to update the firmware. You typed OS X 10.3.3, but of course that is VERY VERY old and not supported. You must have at least OS X 10.6.8. Could that have been a typo? If so, what is the actual OS X version? |

Sorry, I meant 10.10.3, latest Yosemite.
Indeed, it does show my Hilo on audio/midi configs as well as on Hilo Remote. As far as e-mails, it's ticket submissions I did directly on your website's support area. Thanks, Andre Edited by fossaree - April/25/2015 at 10:15pm |

I see no support tickets from your Email address. I do see an Email you sent to us back on 10/4/2011 that Paul answered the same day.
To know that your support ticket has been received, you would see the "Support Ticket Success" page and you would have received an automated response from our Email server showing the time and date your ticket was received. Hilo Remote uses exactly the same identification method as Hilo Update (they both use exactly the same source code). I suggest looking at your Console (Applications > Utilities > Console) and see if there are any clues with the log messages from HiloUpdate. Please let us know what you find there. |

I just got a similar problem now after rebooting the computer. Now I can't get the Lynx to work again at all and it cannot be found by the update app or HiloRemote. This is really, really, really bad since I got a lot to do here in the studio and a very pressed schedule, so if I can't get it to work now or tomorrow morning I will have to go to the store and get another interface :(
I will keep a close watch on this thread and got the email notification active!
OS X 10.10.3 Upgraded the firmware to the version with the RTA probably just a couple of hours after the release. Edited by 01010110 - April/26/2015 at 2:40pm |

Would it be possible to use the Hilo converters if I get a simple interface with ADAT or SP/DIF which I connect to the computer? I need a very quick solution.

I've now tried my Hilo on two different computers. Both running 10.10.3. It does not work.

I just got the Hilo to work again by downloading and installing the CoreAudio driver build 57 from this page: http://www.lynxstudio.com/support_downloads_results.asp?i=145

Is your Hilo Thunderbolt? That does need a driver. USB is supported within the Mac OS

Mine is USB. And it has worked just fine since I got it last summer.. until I rebooted my mac pro yesterday. Still didn't work after a whole bunch of reboots, reconnections etc.. but it did start to work after I installed the driver.

Though I never argue with success, that does not make sense technically. We do not have a driver for USB since the OS natively supports it.....
