Hi Lynx Forum,
I've been a faithful Aurora 8 user for four years now, and today was the first time I've had any problem with it.
All of the LED lights stay on, and I'm unable to switch anything on it, (like the sample rate).

It still passes audio, although with strong clipping now, and both ProTools 10 and LogicX interface fine with it, as well as the Lynx software showing all things OK.

I've unplugged the power and plugged it back in, I've disconnected the firewire from the computer, nothing seems to affect it.

Anyone have experience with this? Is this a common bug with a quick remedy, or do I have to send it in for service?

Hi,

Please try a hard reset and let us know the results:

1. Power down the Aurora
2. Pull the AC power cable
3. Press and hold the Sample Rate button while plugging the unit back in.
4. Wait about 2 seconds, release the Sample Rate button
5. Power up the Aurora with the front panel switch.

This should be a display option with a switch, even better flashing. Looks cool. Great for Christmas.

Hold down the TRIM button while turning on the front panel power switch.  That will give you a light show!  It also shows you the firmware revision of the Aurora...
Thank you,
