spl mixdream xp

I just bought Spl Mixdream Xp.Mixdream has 16 mono inputs so i need 16 outputs for summing and 2 inputs for sumreturn into the Lynx. But the problem is, i also need 2 more outputs to send all these separate summing channels to my daw and listen the mix from analog out.

So lynx has 16 outputs and how should i setup the mixdream for maximum efficiency? Do i need another converter or is there a way to do it with only AES16 and Mixdream?

well, it sounds like you need 18 analog outputs, rather than 16. You could add an LS-ADAT to your AES16e and connect an Aurora 8/USB or some other converter for a couple of other channels. OR, you could do 14 channels of summing and leave one pair of outputs for the return.
