Auroras working with Logic ProX Fully functional !!!!

Hi !

My system is ok now on method #1,  I was tried on #2 without external word clock cable.... 


Yes, I always use agregate device... The basic problem was the fact of auroras dont change sample rate bit deph on create or open sessions on Logic ProX. So now is fully working !!!!

There are two typical ways of clocking this system:

#1 
* AES16e #1 on "Internal"
* AES16e #2 on "Header". CBL ICC cable connecting Sync OUT from #1, to SYNC In on #2
* Both Auroras on "AES A"
With this method the sample rate will change automatically when a project is launched or created

#2 
* Aurora #1 on "Internal"
* Aurora #2 on "EXT". Wordclock cable connecting wordclock Out from #1, to wordclock In on #2
* Both AES16e cards on "Digital In 1"
With this method you have to set the Sample Rate on Aurora #1 to match your project

Also, in OSX you need to create an aggregate device in Audio MIDI setup to use both AES16e's at the same time. Have you done that?

Hi,

Best setup is to use one of the AES16 cards as Master clock, the other card clocked from its HEADER using one of our CBL-ICC clock cables (connecting from Master card to Slave card), and each Aurora set to "AES A" as Sync Source.

PLEASE HELP ! I AM NEW IN MULTIPLE DIGITAL DEVICES !!!!

USING LOGIC PROX WHEN I CREATE NEW PROJECT THE AURORAS DONT RESPOND BIT AND SAMPLE RATE SETTINGS....Cry

HOW THE BEST METHOD TO LINK/SYNC THIS SYSTEM?

2 AES16 AND TWO AURORAS 16 (EACH AURORA 16 CONECTED TO EACH AES16 VIA AESEBU)

WHO IS MASTER CLOCK ?
