If you are using LT-FW and have Clcks and Pops at 48K and 96K, mine is working fine now.  This is what I did.

Open the Aurora Remote Control and choose "Digital I/O and Settings"
Change "Sync Sourse" from Internal to Lslot LT-FW and wait for Auroa to Lock
After lock occurs, Switch "Sync Source" back to Internal

I've been using this method for six months now with absolutely no clicks, pops or distortion.  I use all sixteen analog and almost as many digital all simultaneously on a daily basis.  Rock-Solid!!

hmmm, very interesting... Does it matter if synchrolock does NOT lock?

Yes, synchroclock must lock first (and each time in and out).  i own a CS400 PC by sweetwater.  I run both 24 analog and 24 digital sumultaneously at 96K.  I had a problem with this a while back and posted about it, but with this method of "initialization" it's been rock-solid each time with no problems.......Go figure!

I have a correction to my last post.  I meant to write 16 analog and 16 digital simultaneously as I have only the Aurora 16.  My other converter is 24 count, thus the confusion on my part.

I've been using this setup for a Hybrid setup using the Lynx and the Dangerous Music gear and patching in the analog.  The Aurora has been rock solid, I'm very happy about this.

One final note.  Sometimes it is necessary for me to do the following if the Aurora unit does not lock to the LT-FW signal.  There are times the lock status for "LT-FW" will be red and read "Range".  When this happens I have to do the following:

1. Exit the Aurora Remote Control Software
2. Exit all DAW applications using the converter and interface
3. Power down the Aurora
4. Remove the power plug from the rear of the Aurora Unit - Wait 10 seconds for good measure
5. Plug power cable back into Aurora Unit
6. Turn on Aurora from the front panel - Wait 30 seconds
7. Open Aurora Remote Control
8. Change clock source from "Internal" to "LT-FW" - LT-FW should lock within a minute
9. Once "LT-FW" is locked, switch from "LT-FW" back to "Internal"
10. Works for me, may work for you as well.
